• Warm-ups
• We had a disruptive incident at the beginning of class, so we took a detour from the lesson plan and had the students create a short skit in small groups about an event that took place that day.
• Know Your Neighbor--students interviewed a partner and took notes, then had to come up in front of the class pretending to be that partner. We got to ask them questions about their lives. If they didn't know the answer they could make it up.
