• Warm-ups, including tongue twister test in groups of three. It took us awhile to get going with Zip, Zap,Zop.
• Turkey Race--The students told what they ate for Thanksgiving dinner. We divided the class into 2 teams and each team got to pick someone to be the Turkey Eater. That person put on some scrubs and was stuffed full of Newspaper by his or her team. Then the Two turkey eaters got ready to race as their teams lined up to cheer them on. It was Jeremy vs. Amari, and Amari won for a close finish.
• Know it All--The students took turns being the teacher of different subjects. Their classmates would then ask them questions about that subject and if they didn't know the answer they were supposed to make it up.
