• slight Warm-ups

Today's class was in the music room because there were people in our regular space. Sound was a problem as the accoustics were really good and every little noise the kids made was amplified.

• Discussion: lighning, why it strikes, what to do to avoid being struck
• Singing in the Rain--The students learned the first part of the song, "Singing in the Rain," and one student was chosen to be the lightning. The rest of the class skipped around singing until they heard the thunder, then took cover. The lightning student went and struck whomever was the highest. That student became the new lightning.
