• This week we are focusing on trees to help develop character for Nigel, Kenesha and Tyler who will be playing the trees in our play.
• Think Like a Tree—students imagine that they are trees. They practice standing like different kinds of trees and imagine how a tree would respond to different weather conditions.
• The Woodcutter—the students pretend to be trees in a large forest. One of them is selected as the Woodcutter and he has a limited time to run and chop down all the trees. When the trees are chopped down, they make a crashing sound and tumble to the ground.
